Diamonds could be seen near and far on the red carpet Sunday night at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards. Artists across the board turned out in exquisite diamond jewelry for the music industry's most important award show. IDEX Online has tracked the diamond jewelry trends seen during the night. The most obvious trends were large, dangling earrings, an item most women wore. Oversized bracelets, either very wide or three dimensional, were seen on many stars walking the red carpet, too. Finally, it seemed that “bigger is better” was the most prevalent trend among most of the artists. Rings, pendants and necklaces stood out clearly, and can be easily distinguished in thumbnail images from the event.
