As an outgrowth of the 32nd Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship held in Liverpool, UK, in 2009, this collection of essays addresses a range of pertinent issues within the "creative industries" debates from a process, policy and practice perspective. Its aim is to enhance understanding of creative processes and practices, while demonstrating their dynamic interaction and including creative industries firmly within the main agenda of global economic policy.
