Bayer to maintain 'essential' supplies for Russian agriculture

Bayer's Crop Science division is maintaining "essential" products and services to Russia and Belarus. The company says that withholding essential health and agriculture products from the civilian populations including seeds to grow food would "only multiply the war's ongoing toll on human life". The company is suspending certain non-essential services in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine two weeks ago. Some companies, including agriculture businesses, have since suspended operations in the belligerent countries.
