China to approve tetraniliprole and broflanilide

China has proposed the approval of six new crop protection products and active ingredients, including Bayer’s insecticide, tetraniliprole, and BASF/Mitsui Chemicals Agro’s insecticide, broflanilide. The products were part of the seventh batch of pesticide approvals proposed by China’s Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA), in 2020. The proposals were opened for public comment at the end of August.
