Idai obtains use extensions in Mexico for three biocontrols

Portuguese company Rovensa’s Spanish biostimulant and biocontrols business, Idai Nature (Valencia, Spain), has been granted use extensions for three of its biological products in Mexico. The torvisco, ruda and sacred leaf (Piper auritum) extract-based White Fly has been added to use on citrus, mushrooms, leafy vegetables and brassicas. The formulation is approved as a foliar application on over 30 fruit and vegetable crops, and as a direct spray use onto the substrate for mushrooms. It is variously approved for the control of Greenhouse white flies (Trialeurodes vaporariorum), scuttle flies (Megalesia halterata) and cabbage white flies (Aleyrodes brassicae), among other pests.
