Polish paper consumption will likely rise by 2 million t by 2020 with potential for growth in RCP collections

Poland consumed a total of 4.2 million t of paper and board in 2012. This figure is poised to climb to 6.3 million t by 2020. Growth is expected to come mainly in the area of packaging board. Michal Gawrych, Stora Enso's Supply Chain Director for Containerboard, provided this estimate during his presentation at the 17th International Recovered Paper Conference 2014 in Duesseldorf, organised by German waste management and recycling association bvse.
