Deflagration in recovery boiler causes stoppage at Zellstoff Poels

On the evening of 23 March 2014, a deflagration occurred in the recovery boiler of the pulp mill of Austrian Zellstoff Poels. According to a company press release, production had to be stopped as a result. The equipment in the direct vicinity of the recovery boiler and other technical installations were not damaged, reports the company, adding that its new PM 2 was not affected by the damage either.
