Sonoco Alcore doubles core capacity in Russia

Sonoco Alcore is growing in Russia. The core manufacturer has opened its third plant in the country. The company said it had invested ?3.2m in the construction of the 7,500 m~2 manufacturing site located in Schekino, 200 km south of Moscow. The plant produces industrial cores for the film, metal, and textile industries, amongst others. With an annual capacity of 17,000 t, it will reportedly help Sonoco Alcore to double its core capacities in the country.
