Kingdecor to install third paper machine in Quzhou

Chinese decor paper manufacturer Kingdecor is to install a third paper machine at its facility in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. The new PM 3 will have a production capacity of over 50,000 tpy and is scheduled to come online at the end of 2014. Installation work is expected to commence during the second quarter. Kingdecor's new PM 3 has a maximum production speed of 750 m/min and is set up to make decor paper in grammages of 30-150 g/m~2. With a web width of 4,500 mm, the machine will be able to make a variety of formats in double or triple-up production, it is said. One focus will be on making products with a width of 1,250 mm, which are especially popular in China and can be manufactured in triplicate side-by-side on the new machine. Combinations of western widths of up to 2,200 mm and up to 1,860 mm like those used in Russia are also feasible.
