Sodra's results still in the red but improving

Sodra has made major headway in its efforts to emerge from the red. In the 2013 business year, the company improved results thanks to divestments and cost-saving measures, despite slow recovery of the European economy and a strong Swedish krona.The company wants to continue this way and has devised a new group strategy. The group wants to use its collective resources more effectively and expand capacity so as to continue to grow. "Looking to the future, I feel that our prospects for 2014 are better than they have been compared to the past couple of years. Europe, which is the primary market for our products, is expected to be stronger, with growth in the economy in 2014", Sodra's new CEO Lars Idermark explained.
