Living on the opposite sides of the world hasn't prevented Amy and Paula Sutton starting up a successful business. The sisters, whom their parents describe as "good little buddies" when growing up, are busy building an online artwork business that features iconic New Zealand images. The twist is that Paula is based in the Waikato town of Te Awamutu and Amy's living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), working with the Abu Dhabi Government. Separated by large distances for most of their adult life, AMPA Designs is now bringing the two sisters much closer together. "Amy is much more the free spirit and I'm the more structured one who needs to know where we are going and what we are doing," explains Paula, "and this is still the case now. We complement each other with what we each bring to the business."
