There's no question about the star attraction at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). There were crowds around the stands showing phones with folding screens. Huawei's futuristic looking Mate X model got the most attention. At first glance it looks like any other 2019 Android handset that fits in a pocket. That's until you fold it open - at that point it turns into an iPad-like tablet. Huawei wraps the Mate X screen around the outside of the closed phone. When you shut the phone there is a 6.6-inch screen on the front and a 6.4-inch screen on the back. Even when closed, the front screen is still large by phone standards.
