UPL/AgBiTech forge US bioinsecticide distribution deal

UPL’s North American subsidiary, UPL NA, has forged a collaboration with US biopesticide company AgBiTech (Fort Worth, Texas) to distribute two of the latter’s viral insecticides, Heligen (Helicoverpa zea ABA nucleopolyhedrovirus) and Fawligen (Spodoptera frugiperda multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus strain 3AP2), in the states of California, Arizona and Hawaii through its Natural Plant Protection (NPP) business unit. The strategic partnership gains UPL access to the products’ technology, besides the right to distribute them across the western US.
