Uruguay closes comments on stacked GM maize trials

Uruguay’s biosafety authority has closed the public comment period on its recommended approval for Syngenta’s genetically modified Enogen (3272)/Agrisure Viptera 3110 (Bt11xMIR162xGA21) maize. The national biosafety body’s risk management commission, the CGR, recommended authorisation for trials of the GM maize.
