Rallis’ Q1 agchem sales rise 27%

Rallis India registered a 26.5% increase in sales at its Crop Care division, comprising agrochemicals, to Rs 5,960 million ($79.2 million at the average rate for the period) for its ?rst quarter ended June 30th. The seeds business contracted slightly to fetch Rs 2,670 million ($35.5 million) during the same period. Consolidated sales for the quarter improved by 16.5% to Rs 8,630 million ($114.7 million).
