Coromandel records 5% rise in Q1 crop protection sales

Indian crop protection and fertiliser company Coromandel International (Secunderabad) posted a 4.8% rise in crop protection sales to Rs 6,610 million ($85.7 million at average rate for the period) for its first quarter ended June 30th 2022. Consolidated sales, including the company’s nutrient and allied business, improved by 56% to settle at Rs 57,290 million ($742.5 million). The share of crop protection business in the company’s overall revenues fell to 11.5% from the 17.1% reported a year earlier.
