Sharda Cropchem records 15% rise in Q1 agchem sales

Indian company Sharda Cropchem (Mumbai) registered a 15.2% rise in agrochemical sales to Rs 6,150 million ($80 million) for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30th 2022. Agrochemicals accounted for 74.6% (85.8% during last year’s corresponding quarter) of the company’s consolidated sales, which rose over 32% to Rs 8,245 million ($107.2 million). Sharda notes that the bullish performance was aided by better price realisation and product mix.
