Potentiometry at trace levels

Historically,potentiometry has been considered as a technique with rather limited lower detection limits (ca.10~(-6) M) and it has been assumed that other ions in concentrations greater than 10~(-2) 10~(-3) % of the target (primary) ion cause severe interferences.
