India - prices rise $31/t in RCF tender ASIA

A $31/t increase from the previous tender has given RCF the opportunity to buy a substantial amount of urea as the country seeks to avoid a signifcant supply shortage. RCF tendered on 10 August to buy urea for shipment up to 15 September. It received ofers from nine suppliers totaling nearly 1.2mn t of urea. Details are shown in the accompany- ing table.
