Genetic analysis of new mutants in Plodia interpunctella Hubner.

摘要

Inheritance of mutations induced by irradiation in Plodia interpunctella was investigated. The deep red eyes (dre) mutation changes the eye colour into dark red and is autosomally recessively inherited. The transparent wing (tw) mutation is also autosomal and recessive. The mutations segregate independently. As shown by hybrid analysis, both the mutant characters are monofactorially inherited.
