Genetic control of resistance to Pyrenophora teres Drechs. strains in barley

The genetic control of resistance to 4 Pyrenophora teres strains of different origin was studied in 12 genotypes of barley. The mode of inheritance of resistance in the F1s depended on the genotypes of the pathogen strain and susceptible parent and,in some cases, on the maternal cytoplasm. Complete or incomplete dominance of resistance was demonstrated.
