Diverted cargoes from the US weighed on prices this week, but the trend was frm even if somewhat sluggish. Prices rose dramatically through the week — an ofer on Fri- day at $515/t cfr which was passed up was followed by trade through the week from the $530s-560/t cfr, and ofers near press-time were mostly above $600/t cfr.
