Service suppliers feature strongly alongside producers

This year's busy exhibition accompanying the Coaltrans Paris conference featured 39 separate exhibitors, encompassing coal producers, service providers and handling equipment manufacturers from around the world. The service industry is always well represented at the Coaltrans exhibition, with ports and inspection companies well to the fore. Exhibiting in Paris was inspection company Lux-control, where CoalTrans International met managing director Jacques Eischen and marketing manager Jan Oldenburg. Eischen confirmed that - with more than 50 per cent of its business concentrated at Europe's ARA ports - "our prime obligation is to provide every client with an individual service.
