An intriguing glass belonging to a City of London livery company

Since 2000 I have been associated with the Innholders' Company, one of the City of London's smaller livery companies. These companies or guilds, often founded in the medieval period, were originally formed to regulate the apprenticeship system and strengthen the rights of skilled artisans practising a particular trade.
