摘要

Groups of 10 fish in 15L test water wereexposed to lethal and sub lethal concentrations of profenofos for 24, 48, 72, 96h and 1, 4, 8 and16 days. Experiments were conducted in triplicates for each concentration of pesticide. Na+- K+,Mg2+ and Ca2+ ATPase activities were determined in gill, liver, kidney and muscle of fish.Results showed a decline in Mg 2+, Na + - K + and Ca 2+ ATPases in gill, muscle, kidney and liver in allexposed fish compared with non-treated controls. With lethal concentrations the decline in Na +- K + and Ca 2+ and Na + - K + , Mg 2+ and Ca 2+ ATPases suggested severe disruption of cellular ionicregulation.
