Chinalco Luoyang Hot & Cold Rolling Plants to commence production

Chinalco Henan Aluminum Co., Ltd. said its Luoyang Cold Rolling Plant had recently made a success in trial run of a 1700mm finishing mill, which paves way for the plant and the hot rolling plant to begin production within the first half of this year. The company was set up in Luoyang city of Henan province on August 16, 2005. With a registered capital of 559.8 million yuan(USD69.8 million), the company is jointly funded by Aluminum Corporation of China(Chinalco), Zhongse Science & Technology Co., Ltd, Yichuan Electric Power Group and Luoyang Economy Investment Co., Ltd. Chinalco holds the majority shares . of the company.
