摘要

Northern Ireland has criticized the UK government’s recent trade deal with New Zealand for threatening the viability of their farming sector. On 2 November, Northern Ireland’s Agriculture Minister Edwin Poots said in a statement that the trade deal is a “very serious threat” to their farmers because it will eventually allow duty-free access to the UK market for New Zealand’s exports of beef, lamb and butter.
