Almost 14 million people suffer from stroke annually-of which-5.5 million will die. Every 4 minutes, someone in the U.S. dies of a stroke, having about 795,000 stroke cases annually, making stroke the second leading cause of death! Every minute delayed for a stroke patient, 1.9 million neurons die, 14 billion synapses destroy, making the stroke the first leading cause of disability! In the U.S., 659,000 people die from cardiac disease annually. Stroke and cardiac conditions require quick treatment to save lives; however, our healthcare is complex, fragmented, and siloed. Navigating through different clinical settings, organizations, and systems for timely treatment is the most critical need of such acute conditions-ALLM is a pioneer in identifying and solving these problems and meeting the demands. ALLM's vision is shaping healthcare with digital transformation at point of care. ALLM was founded by serial entrepreneurs and executives, having healthcare experience in the U.S. and Japan. They were first movers in identifying the fragmentation, barriers, and silos between pre-hospital procedures, emergency room care, and specialized care facilities. With the help of healthcare providers and specialists, they took action to de-fragment the healthcare system. Inspired by the patient stories in emergency and acute patient treatment, the founding team discovered the underlying problems - the most compelling communication and clinical decision support (CDS) needs at the point of care in healthcare. They took on a paradigm-shifting mission-innovating communication with embedded CDS for saving patient lives and their lifestyle.
