Design, Specification and Maintenance of Airfield Pavements with Particular Regard to Asphalt

This was a presentation given by John Cook of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation on the 25 October 2016 to the IAT Scottish Branch members and guests. John explained this was a general talk on airfields with particular emphasis on asphalt. The M.O.D. currently maintain 45 airfields, 4 of which are overseas all of which have a traffic mix of light aircraft, fast jets, large wide bodied aircraft and helicopters.
