Amey's resurgence takes Ferrovial to the top

Amey motored off with three quarters of a billion pounds-worth of highways work in the second quarter of this year. The company, which has been put up for sale by Spanish construction giant Ferrovial, benefited from the start of the new 5G maintenance contracts in Scotland as it was confirmed for the South West deal. This deal is valued at ￡720m by Glenigan, which produces the contracts leagues exclusively for Highways and values the South East deal won by BEAR Scotland at ￡690m over the eight years of the concession.
