The Turkish market for ferrous scrap has seen a slight pick-up in business activity in the mid-week. Some steelmakers have resumed the raw material imports due to a slump in foreign scrap prices. Producers have chosen to source it from the Azov-Black Sea region and Europe, as the suppliers there quote the most attractive prices.
