Turkish flats producers strive to fix prices

Demand for flats is gradually recovering in Turkey. In the first half of the month bullish policy of local producers stimulated traders' restocking (their inventories are above moderate levels). But now local mills have focused on fixing their quotations, because both domestic and foreign buyers are currently booking the material in small batches mainly. The fact that most of CIS suppliers are currently out of the market helps producers hold offers stable.
