2021 MAY 05 (NewsRx) - By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Disease Prevention Daily - Investigators publish new report on metabolic syndrome. According to news reporting originating from Wenzhou, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, "Higher serum gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) is associated with high risk of hypertension. We aimed to examine the association between sex-specific serum GGT levels and incident of hypertension in a Chinese population without metabolic syndrome."
