Contractors looking to tender for one of the biggest Welsh roads' schemes in recent years - the ￡180 million Heads of the Valley project in Abergavenny - must submit prequalification details to the Welsh Assembly by May 10. The contract is for the scheme's second phase and comprises improving a three-lane roundabout on the A465 linking to the A4077 at Glanbaiden Roundabout. Consultants EC Harris and Jacobs are already working on the project.
