Roadside gullies feed Leicester lake with deaned-up water

Leicestershire County Council's Billesdon Living Water facility was the winner in the 'Environmental Sustainability in the Highways Sector' of the 2009 Highways Magazine Excellence Awards.The Billesdon Living Water is a custom-made system for the treatment of the three million litres of road water run-off collected from the County's 115,000 roadside gullies each year.
