The road to nowhere?

In the June issue of the Municipal Journal, Nick Appleyard published an article (The Road to Nowhere) which issued a "Bleak warning over shortfall in council's local roads budget threatens growth agenda -and new political row over potholes." The comment outlined fears around fresh rounds of budgetary pressures being threatened whilst there are significant concerns regarding the condition of one of the 'country's biggest public assets - the local roads network' undermining ministers' growth agenda.
