Breedon Aggregates is the UK's largest independent aggregates business, with 26 quarries, 40 ready-mixed concrete plants and 18 asphalt plants in England and Scotland. It has substantial reserves and resources totalling nearly 200 million tonnes. The company employs around 800 people. Breedon has been a leader in the development of new surfacing materials for specialist applications, with a full range of products for use on everything from motorways and trunk roads to driveways, car parks and sports playing surfaces.
