Troim's 2020 Bulkers names Billung as chief executive

HERMAN Billung has been appointed chief executive of Olav Troim's 2020 Bulkers. He replaces Magnus Halvorsen, who will focus on his role as company chairman. Mr Billung, whose shipping career spans 31 years, assumes his new role on February 1, the company said in a statement. He most recently served as senior vice-president at US-listed Star Bulk Carriers following the sale of Songa Bulk in 2018. Prior to that, the Norwegian was chief executive of John Fredriksen's dry bulk unit Golden Ocean. He also held several positions at Torvald Klaveness.
