should information professionals become early adopters of new technologies, or is this too far removed from our remit?How do you feel about new technology? Do you race to the nearest Apple store the moment a new ver-sion of the ipad is released, or do you just not understand the fuss?I admit to being an enthusiastic adopter of new technology, both for personal and work use, so I am always interested in learning more about this topic. in July, i participated in a Twitter chat hosted by si_A and uklibchat on the subject of mobile technology in libraries. During the chat, participants were asked to share their vision of the library in 2020, and I tweeted that i would like to see more librarians become early adopters of new technologies so they can teach their customers to use new tools.
