AGM-114 Hellfire

The AGM-114 Hellfire is an anti-armor missile developed to arm the US Army's AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. The Hellfire is also used on the US Army Special Forces AH-6 and US Marine Corps Bell AH-1J/W/Z Super Cobra attack helicopters, and has been tested on a number of other aircraft and helicopters as well as from ground-based and coastal launchers. The Hellfire was developed and produced by Rockwell International (now Boeing) and second-sourced by Lockheed Martin (formerly Martin Marietta) for the US Army and US Marine Corps. In May 1995, Lockheed and Rockwell formed a joint company to manufacture and market the Hellfire II called the Hellfire Systems LLC. Longbow production was directed by the Longbow LLC formed by Lockheed Martin teamed with Westinghouse Electric.
