Forecast of changes in Russian and Ukrainian currency markets

Persisting political tensions around Russia and the CIS, together with deterioration of at least short-term prospects for the global economy amid difficulties agreeing fiscal incentives in the US Congress and new waves of the pandemic, related cuts in prices for oil and various assets, as well as the dollar index reversing its decline, are the factors contributing to a further devaluation of the rouble.
