Prices to be relatively stable till mid-autumn

By July 20, export prices for A3 scrap had added 5% month-on-month. A stabilization of finished steel prices anticipated in Turkey in August will allow scrap exporters to be able to at least keep quotes unchanged. In September-October, Turkish mills will attempt raising offer prices for finished products, counting on a demand recovery in autumn. Metal Expert sees no reasons for a significant price rise, believing the increase will be no bigger than $5/t. Yet, the factor will let scrap suppliers raise their prices equally.
