Forecast of changes in Russian and Ukrainian currency markets

Rising oil prices and record high gas ones are supporting the rouble, outweighing the impact of expectations of new sanctions and the Federal Reserve System planning to curtail incentives starting from November. However, the currencies of the developing countries may be moderately affected in case of a deeper crisis in China’s construction sector in the second half of autumn.
