Wax design has been working on a large-scale produce garden adjoining Jacobs Creek Heritage Cottage for Orlando Wines. Wax Design's research on crop yields, seasonal crop rotations and crop losses found that a benchmark of approximately eighty square metres was needed to yield half a tonne of vegetables. In addition to the raised vegetable plots, the garden uses citrus tree avenues, a native and mixed species orchard, an Australian bush tucker garden, a herb garden and vegetable garden plots. The design also includes bee hives for honey and pollination, chickens, ducks and geese for eggs and seasonal poultry.
