Sigma-Aldrich use Metrohm ProcessLab to Increase Sample Throughput

Sigma-Aldrich is a leading manufacturer of fine chemicals for R&D in chemistry and biochemistry. At their production facility in Steinheim, Germany, they rely on a Metrohm ProcessLab to cope with the high throughput and daily changing chemical products manufactured in their state-of-the-art facility. "By titration alone we determine 10'000 different chemicals! 75% of those applications are carried out on our Metrohm ProcessLab", says Dr Helmut George, Production Manager at Sigma-Aldrich in Steinheim. Their ProcessLab system is a custom solution provided by Deutsche Metrohm Prozessanalytik, who were happy to meet the high demands placed on the system by Sigma-Aldrich's application chemists.
