However, due to the lack of scientific groundwater management and excessive exploitation, there are also varying degrees of problems in irrigation technology and crop planting structures, which have caused the oasis’s groundwater level to decline year by year, water quality deterioration, soil salinization, desertification, and vegetation degradation.”
