Equipment for Cyanide Distillation

International standards for the determination of cyanide require the preparation of the samples by enrichment and separation, usually called 'cyanide distillation'. With behr (Germany) equipment for cyanide distillation the analyst can perform this task in up to 6 sample places at a time. Using a vacuum pump to separate the HCN and collect it in the NaOH solution, behr equipment offers considerable advantages: Conformity to the guidelines; No clamps necessary to fix the joints; No risk of leakage during sample preparation; No escape of HCN; No risk of exposure of hazardous HCN to the laboratory staff.
