Visteon to Acquire Automotive Electronics Business of Johnson Controls

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, MI - In a move that will create one of the world's three largest suppliers of vehicle cockpit electronics, Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC) has agreed to purchase the automotive electronics business of Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) in a cash transaction valued at $265 million, subject to adjustment. The acquisition is subject to certain regulatory and other consents and approvals and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2014.
