Lessons Learned from a Lifetime in the Business

EDITOR'S NOTE: Frank was one of the featured general session speakers at the recent NARSA Innovate 2016 Conference that was held in San Antonio, TX. Frank is a very modest man and was concerned that he would not have much to say that the current generation of business men and women in this business would want to know. On the contrary, a mix of old hands as well as the up and coming leaders in our heat exchange niche thoroughly enjoyed his presentation. He shared his experience with the hope that others will see the opportunities that he did and use them to follow and succeed in earning the American Dream. This is a rare opportunity to hear in his own words the story of one of the most successful radiator men of his generation. My name is Frank Finger and I have been in this business for a long time. My father, Frank, was born in Hell's Kitchen, New York in 1889. At twelve years old, he was working in a blacksmith shop. My moter, Ida, was born in 1889 and immigrated to New York from Germany after World War I. She worked as a nanny.
