Poland’s sections and steel structures producer Huta Pokoj signed another agreement with its mother company Weglokoks Group to ensure production and sales of steel products at the mill. The first agreement, signed on August 8 with an aim to maintain production and develop a rescue plan for Huta Pokoj by Weglokoks, failed to bring the desired results. “On August 8, we signed the first contract, which was aimed at providing Huta Pokoj with steel semis. It was a rather complicated contract that did not work the way we wanted,” local media reported citing president of Weglokoks Tomasz Heryszek. Therefore, the parties signed a second contract, which has come into force today, Metal Expert learnt.
